Developing a vibrant community space in Dewsbury West
Transform Your World is one of our exciting projects for 2018/19 which will see us working in partnership with Moorcroft Community Garden Group and Westmoor Primary School to develop an existing overgrown allotment area into a vibrant community garden space for everyone to enjoy!
Funded by Kirklees Council, we'll be on site each Thursday; initially clearing and tidying up the area, then beginning to construct and implement new features chosen by the local community for inclusion within the space transforming it into a fantastic community garden.
If you live in Dewsbury West and want to get involved, we'd really love your help with any of the following:
- Ideas and planning;
- Becoming a member of the Moorcroft Community Garden Group;
- Attending on-site, outdoor workshops and open days;
- Adopting a growing space, or bed.
